Andrea G.

Hi there! I'm Vexel, and I've been drawing pretty much my whole life! My art journey started way back at the Southern Indiana Center for the Arts as a wide-eyed kid, and I spent my high school years devouring every art class I could find. Fast forward through 8 years of teaching art and English, and here I am.Digital art is where my heart lives nowadays — especially pixel art, which I've been obsessed with since around 2008. I've had the chance to put my pixel skills into games like Furcadia and Pixel Petz, plus created social media content and volunteered art for communities that need it. I also paint, sculpt, and try out basically any medium I can get my hands on!These days I'm disabled and digital work is just easier for me to access, but that hasn't slowed down my love for bringing pets, animals, and whimsical creatures to life. I draw a lot for others (commissions, gifts, you name it), and I'm constantly trying to bring joy and light to the world through my art. Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope my creations spark some smiles and maybe even a little artistic fire of your own!

1. Pricing & Payment

★ Prices may vary based on characters' complexity and any added details.★ A comprehensive quote will be provided after receiving reference material and before commencing work.★ Payment is expected up-front to prevent potential scams. Invoices will be sent via PayPal.★ Tips are greatly appreciated and welcome!

2. Commission Process

★ To maintain a manageable workload and ensure timely delivery, I generally accept one or two commissions at a time.★ While I don't provide strict deadlines, rest assured that I'll keep you updated on the progress if you request it.★ You are welcome to request Work in Progress (WIP) pictures at any stage. However, keep in mind that waiting for WIP approval might extend the overall timeframe. If you simply want updates without changes, it won't hinder the process.★ Changes can be requested at any WIP stage, but major alterations (ie. pose, background, or character changes) are best addressed during the sketch phase.★ Minor adjustments, such as missing markings, can be accommodated after the artwork is finished, but it's advised to communicate any concerns early on.

3. Ordering a Commission

★ To commission me, please use any of the contact links provided on my contact page.★ Briefly describe your requests regarding poses, characters, etc., and ensure to include relevant references. For pet portraits, high-quality photos are essential, preferably with different lighting variations.★ Once we reach an agreement, kindly provide the email address to which you'd like your invoice sent.

4. Payments, cancellations and refunds

★ You may cancel the commission within one month of requesting it, provided I haven't started on the artwork.★ Refunds will not be issued once I've commenced work or after the one-month period has passed.★ I reserve the right to cancel a commission, with or without a refund, under the following circumstances:
• If the commissioner exhibits excessive rudeness or abusive behavior.
• If the commissioner violates my TOS intentionally.
• If the commissioner requests illegal or morally objectionable content.
★ In case of a cancellation, I will first discuss the reasons with the commissioner before proceeding.

5. Rights & Use

★ Commissions are exclusively for personal use, and commercial usage (ie. posters, t-shirts, advertisements) is strictly prohibited.★ Unless the characters are my original creations, I will not hold any rights to the portrayed characters. The respective owner will retain all character rights.★ The customer may not profit from the finished piece in any form. Non-commercial use, such as uploading it to an online gallery (ie. DeviantArt, ToyHouse) is allowed, provided proper credit is given to me and the image is not claimed as their own. Personal printing is permitted.★ All rights and usage of the finished artwork remain with me, the artist.
I reserve the right to use your commissioned piece for self-advertisement, portfolio examples, or promotional purposes.
